Would be pointless for me to simply reiterate the times article today on UW's current basketball recruiting situation, but great insight into their current standing, as well as what we all feared, a note at the end of the article claiming the rare occasion that UW may be competing with WSU for a basketball recruit. That's just sad, is a player willing to go to WSU worth UW's time?

I understand that you can never have enough good guards but look who we have in the backcourt next year

There doesn't seem to be a lot of PT next year for Abbott if he signs. And the year after that, we have Thomas coming in plus the dawgs are going after the younger Holiday kid. Seems like a logjam in the backcourt. I don't know if signing Abbott makes a lot of sense.
Only if he's the real deal. Hard to imagine that he could be that good if the Cougs are in the hunt. But I guess they have been after him awhile and we are late to the party.
I wouldn't mind seeing them look for another big guy. Not sure if there are any out there, but if Wolfinger doesn't heal and Hawes is gone, we'll be thin.
